How does a Lash Lift & Tint work

A lash lift and tint works like a perm for the eyelashes. It uplifts and curls your eyelashes from the base of the lash, making them stand out and look longer. It’s paired with an eyelash tint to enhance the eyelashes and make them look more defined and fuller. It’s an easy and painless procedure!

What areas can be treated?

As you might imagine from the name of the treatment, a lash lift and tint is used exclusively on the eyelashes.

About your treatment 

The lash lift and tint treatment begins with the lashes being completely cleaned and a patch is placed on the undereye and lower lashes to keep them from curling upwards with your upper lashes. Another pad is placed on the upper eyelids to protect them from the perm solution. 

Your specialist will then comb the lashes straight and then a setting solution will be applied to the lashes. They will then lift them upward. The solution will be allowed to sit for three to six minutes and then removed with cotton gauze.

After that, the lash tint will be applied. The color of the tint will depend on the color of your natural lashes. The tint will sit for 10-12 minutes and then be removed. A nourishing solution is applied and the lashes are combed. 

The whole procedure takes about 45-60 minutes and it usually lasts about 6-8 weeks. To maintain results, you’ll need to have treatments every few weeks.

Results & Recovery

There is very minimal downtime with lash lift and tint. You can return to your normal routine immediately. You will want to avoid getting your lashes wet, sleeping directly on your face, applying makeup on your eyelashes, and applying lash oil for at least 24 hours after treatment.

To maintain your results, you can comb your lashes each day, avoid rubbing your eyes, and avoid excess sun exposure.

You will see results immediately after treatment.
