The choice of dermal filler also depends on the desired correction and time frame for optimal results. They all contain lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during treatment.

Hyaluronic acid fillers, such as VERSA™ can smooth away wrinkles instantly around the mouth, nose, jawline and cheek area. It also works beautifully as a lip filler for plumping the lips and smoothing lines around the mouth and to augment the bridge of the nose, as well as earlobes that have lost volume over time.

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that gives soft tissue its bulk and “feel”. It is extracted and purified from biologic sources. All of the products are gradually reabsorbed, with a cosmetic result that can last up to a year, some nearly 2 years.

    There is no requirement to adjust your activity level after filler treatments, or to otherwise rest and recover. You should still expect some minor redness and swelling at your injection sites, but this is generally resolved within a day or so.
  • HOW LONG DOES BRUISING LAST AFTER DERMAL FILLERS?
    This can depend on whether your bruise easily or not. In general, you should give yourself around two weeks for bruising to completely go away, meaning you should plan accordingly if you have an upcoming event.
  • WHAT IF I DO NOT LIKE MY RESULTS FROM DERMAL FILLERS?
    If you don’t like your results from a hyaluronic acid dermal filler (like Versa or Restylane), hyaluronidase can be injected to dissolve the filler material. This process does not always have the best results, though, so it’s important to do your research on fillers, injectors, and what results you can expect before you go through with filler treatments.
