How Does It Work?

Sofwave is a completely non-invasive technology used to treat facial lines, loose skin, and other signs of aging. It uses a specialized ultrasound parallel beam technology that creates a cylindrical thermal zone in the middle layers of the skin (the mid-dermis) where the cells that are responsible for producing collagen lie. At just the right depth, this generates a gentle warming effect that induces your skin into a mild healing response. By stimulating collagen production in the mid-dermal tissue structures beneath the skin surface, you can achieve more dramatic, long-lasting results.

In addition, while new collagen is being produced over time, the existing collagen in the treated area is tightened. All this is performed without the need for needles or incisions using a comfortable applicator that doesn’t take long for each treatment session. Additionally, there is an advanced cooling mechanism that protects the skin’s surface from thermal damage during the non-invasive process.
