David Rankin, M.D., Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, practices both Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery throughout Palm Beach County. Although his main focus is on Cosmetic and Aesthetic procedures, Dr. Rankin continues to provide trauma care for accident victims throughout South Florida. His advanced training, attention to detail and natural artistic skills, help him to achieve beautiful results with his patients. Dr. Rankin says, “Practicing both Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery gives me the wonderful opportunity to touch people’s lives in a positive manner, while embracing my passion of artistry.” After extensive training at some of the nations top Academic Institutions, including Columbia University and the University of Michigan, Dr. Rankin went on to a Surgical Residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. He then completed a full Plastic Surgery Fellowship in his hometown of Michigan where he studied under some of the nation’s top surgical experts. Dr. Rankin is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and many other national, state and local organizations and societies.

Samuel Lederman, MD, FACOG, Co-Director of Laser Skin Solutions, has over 20 years of experience in Laser Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery and is a trainer and international lecturer for laser procedures.

Shelly Kramer, ARNP, is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners specializing in aesthetics and laser treatments. Shelly began her thirty year career at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as a Captain in the Army Nurse Corps. Her background includes women’s health, internal medicine and family practice. She also served on the teaching faculty in nursing at Montgomery College, Maryland and Palm Beach Community College for a total of ten years. Her medical aesthetics experience includes four years in private and corporate practice here in Palm Beach County. Shelly’s initial aesthetics training was at the Hollywood Institute of Beauty followed by more advanced training with Klinger Advanced Aesthetics in New York.

Catherine DeThomas, CME, is a Certified Medical Electrologist with additional certification and training in lasers for hair removal and skin rejuvenation. She is the Laser Safety Officer at Laser Skin Solutions and teaches physicians and nurses advanced techniques in laser hair removal. Cathi is also an Esthetician who obtained her Skin Care degree from the Florida College of Natural Health. She brings to Laser Skin Solutions her expertise in the ever-evolving world of skin care. She specializes in chemical peels, Vibradermabrasion™, product coaching and skin analysis.
Nicole Engler, CME, is a Certified Medical Electrologist with additional certification and training on lasers for hair removal. Nicki continues to update her knowledge with educational seminars on this ever-changing field.
Chris Mascia specializes in the fine, intricate application of Permanent Makeup and Eyelash Extensions in both our Lake Worth and Jupiter locations. Chris has been a makeup artist for the last 8 years and is a National Fitness Competitor and Fitness Model for the past 6 years. She utilizes her love of aesthetics and years of experience to create a natural look for her clients.
