How is Treatment with Morpheus8 Performed?

The treatment begins with a topical anesthetic or local anesthesia in the treatment areas. Once the area is prepared, the Morpheus8 device is systematically placed over the entire area and radio frequency energy is delivered through tiny needle-like pins. Through these pins, the radio frequency energy is able to reach and heat deeper layers of skin and tissue to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin for tighter, smoother skin. The treatment process takes less than an hour to complete, depending on the size of the treatment area.

Is There Downtime?

There is no required downtime after treatment with the Morpheus8 device. Some redness and mild swelling can be expected for about one week, but you can return to regular daily activities right away. Mild bruising is also possible. Makeup can be applied just a few days after treatment to cover any redness. Sun exposure should be avoided while the skin is healing and you should keep the treatment area well moisturized with the recommended skin care products. Wear broad-spectrum sunscreen even on cloudy days for the first few days.

When Can I See Results from Morpheus8?

After just a few days following treatment, you will begin to notice smoother, tighter skin. Improvements to the skin’s tone and texture will continue to improve as new collagen is produced. It will continue improving for up to 3-6 months following the recommended treatment protocol.
