As a semi-permanent treatment, brow lamination may be a good fit if you want to keep your brows looking sleek, thicker, and fuller. With this simple treatment, you can finally achieve the beautiful brows you’ve been trying to achieve without the need to style them every day. Our team of specialists at Laser Skin and Wellness can help you look and feel your best.

How does brow lamination work?

Eyebrow lamination is a treatment that focuses on giving you shiny, smooth eyebrows. It’s often sought after by those with thinning or unruly brows. And while it’s often compared to microblading, there are no needles or coloring involved. It works by using a cream to lift the hairs, and then another solution seals the brows in place. It’s painless, quick, and provides beautiful results.

What areas can be treated?

As you might expect from the name, brow lamination is used to treat the brows only. It is not used on any other part of the body. That said, it can address unruly brows or thinning brow hair.

About your treatment

The brow lamination treatment takes an hour or less to complete. It starts with your provider cleansing the area. From there, they will apply a cream to lift the hairs and then brush the brow hairs upward in a uniform direction. A neutralizing solution will then seal the brows in place. Finally, a nourishing oil is applied to prevent any skin irritation and dryness. During the procedure, your provider may also tweeze any lone or excess hair.

The treatment is only temporary and will need to be done every couple of months to maintain the results.

Results & Recovery

After brow lamination, we recommend applying a nourishing oil or cream to your brows every night to prevent them from drying out. You will want to avoid getting your brows wet for 24 hours and avoid rubbing your brows for at least 48 hours. Try avoiding direct sun exposure as well.

As for the results, the results will be immediate after treatment. You won’t have to worry about a long recovery time or any downtime. Results typically last about two months.

Who is a good candidate?

Most people are good candidates for brow lamination, especially if they’re looking for thicker, fuller eyebrows and anyone with thinning or sparse brows. The only individuals who aren’t good candidates for brow lamination are those who are pregnant or breastfeeding or those with eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area.
